Position Overviews:

1) Chapter Co-Director – 4 year commitment (2yrs as Co-Director, 2 yr as Director)

  • Duties as Co-Director:  Adhere to the outlined responsibilities of the Chapter Representative as listed on the AABIP website as well as:
    • Assist Director in role/responsibilities.
    • Attends and participates in the annual AABIP Conference
    • Assists in the Education to chapter members:
      • Common Ground Quarterly events
      • Annual IP virtual spring conference

As Elected Chapter Director – Post Chapter Co-Director position; 2 yr commitment

Duties include:  Adhere to the outlined responsibilities of the Chapter Representative as listed on the AABIP website as well as:
  • Facilitate chapter meetings (Plan agenda, run meeting, makes clear decisions/deadlines)
  • Attends and participates in the annual AABIP Conference
  • Assure that APP/AH chapter is represented in the following meetings:
    • Membership Committee
    • Education Committee
    • DIU Committee
  • Assures Chapter projects have clear objectives/benefits, meeting goals/deadlines and in line with AABIP mission & vision
  • Plans for the up-coming 2-years
  • Facilitates Teamwork- Works directly with Co-Director & Secretary as well as AABIP Membership Committee Chair
  • Facilitates Education to chapter members:
    • Common Ground Quarterly events
    • Annual IP virtual spring conference

2)  Secretary —2 year commitment

  • Duties:  Adhere to the outlined responsibilities of the Chapter Representative as listed on the AABIP website as well as:
    • Assisting Director with quarterly meeting agenda
    • Recording meeting minutes
    • Coordinates with AABIP Administrative Director as needed
    • Attends and participates in annual AABIP conference and AABIP committees as needed
    • Being available for chapter planning meeting
    • Seasonal chapter newsletter
Eligibility:
  • Applicants must be an AABIP member in good standing
  • Applicants must be active members of the APP and Allied Health Chapter of AABIP
