About the Summit

The 5th AABIP Advocacy & IMPACT Summit is a one-day, in-person working meeting where AABIP members, national experts, and industry partners tackle the issues shaping Interventional Pulmonology, together.

The Summit brings together a select group of national experts, medical society leaders, and industry professionals with a shared interest in advancing the field. Through an open exchange of ideas and experience, we work toward common goals on advocacy: expanding IP programs, bringing new services and technologies into practice, and strengthening the IP practices of our members.

The AABIP Board of Directors and members of the Advocacy Committee attend the Summit, making it a rare chance to work directly with the leaders who set the society's priorities. To keep conversations engaged and productive, attendance is limited to 100 participants.

What to expect

• Saturday, February 27, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM: plenary sessions, breakout sessions, and interactive panels
• Saturday evening, 7:00 PM: Networking Dinner, open to all registered attendees. Keep the day's best conversations going over dinner with fellow AABIP members and leaders, faculty, and industry partners.
• Sunday, February 28: private industry Advisory Board sessions for the Board of Directors and sponsoring companies, by invitation only and separate from Summit registration. If a company would like a registered attendee to join, it will reach out directly.

Stay where the Summit happens

Reserve your room using the link below to stay on site with the Summit group. AABIP's discounted group rate is $280 per night, plus tax and a $25 nightly resort fee (reduced from $45), available through January 25, 2027, or until the room block is filled. Early booking is strongly encouraged.

Make a weekend of it. The group rate is also offered up to three days before and after the Summit, based on resort availability. The resort fee includes shuttle service to The Shops at La Cantera, on-site hiking trails, fitness center access, and tennis and pickleball courts.
