About Michigan Medicine: Join the dynamic team at Michigan Medicine as an Interventional Pulmonologist within the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. Michigan Medicine is actively expanding its Interventional Pulmonology Program, and we are seeking a dedicated, board-certified/board-eligible faculty member to contribute to our growing success. Distinguished by its commitment to excellence, the Michigan Medicine Interventional Pulmonology Program offers leading-edge treatment options not available at other hospitals. Currently comprised of three Interventional Pulmonologists and one Advanced Practice Provider (APP), our team is devoted to providing outstanding clinical care. Position Overview: Full time clinical position, Assistant/Associate clinical professor determined by CV review. This position support patient care at Michigan Medicine and VA Ann Arbor campus. The Interventional Pulmonology Program at Michigan Medicine is at the forefront of providing cutting-edge treatment options and resources not available at other hospitals. Faculty support patient care at Michigan Medicine and the VA Ann Abor campuses. Our expert, multidisciplinary team includes skilled pulmonologists, radiology oncologists, thoracic and neck surgeons, and radiologists, working collaboratively to determine the best treatment options for each patient. The Michigan Medicine Interventional Pulmonology Program is dedicated to caring for a diverse range of patients, including those with lung cancer and other cancer types that have spread to the chest, benign airway tumors, bleeding or inflammation in the lungs or airways, airway disorders (such as compressed airways and airway stenosis), pleural disorders, lung transplant, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and emphysema, severe forms of asthma, and tracheal and bronchial stenosis related to lung transplantation, inflammation, or prior procedures. Our Interventional Pulmonology Program actively participates in clinical trials in collaboration with world-renowned pulmonologists, medical and radiation oncologists, thoracic and ENT surgeons, and interventional radiologists. Qualifications: Minimum Degree: M.D. or equivalent medical professional degree Minimum Qualifications: Must be Board Certified or Eligible in Pulmonary and/or Critical Care Preferred qualifications: graduated from a high-volume, high-complexity Interventional Pulmonology fellowship program Compensation: A competitive salary commensurate with the area and rank Application Process: Interested candidates should submit a letter of interest and CV to [email protected].
