The rationale for this effort is to enhance training, clinical care, scientific exploration, and collaborative, evidence-based approaches within the field of Interventional Pulmonology. More »
The AABIP intends to establish a certification process in an effort to improve the quality, consistency and scientific rigor within the field of Interventional Pulmonology. This will provide patients, healthcare organizations and other interested parties with a standard and readily comprehensible description of the qualifications and experience held by the physician whose services are being engaged. This will enhance clinical care, foster greater collaboration, improve research, advance science and encourage standardization of the training process. More »
