AABIP MEMBERSHIP
Membership in the AABIP is open to physicians and non-physicians interested in the science, techniques, and clinical applications of pulmonary and pleural procedures. A major goal of our association is to share information with practicing health care providers and physicians-in-training through our journal and yearly educational programs held in conjunction with national and international meetings.
The role of the Membership committee is to oversee membership rosters, organize membership drives, ascertain the timeliness of the renewal process, and report membership concerns (educational, scientific, and financial) to the executive committee. The Membership committee chair is responsible for developing strategies to promote the AABIP’s scientific and educational missions in order to meet the concerns, needs, and desires of the general membership.
